Correspondence with Carl Zigrosser, 1945-1969, n.d.

This correspondence reflects Zigrosser's regular contributions to Art in America as an author and as a member of the editorial board. There are regular letters to Zigrosser concerning his recommendations for the annual "New Talent" issue. Some early 60's correspondence centers around the New York World's Fair of 1964-65, and Art in America's agitation for an art exhibition to be included in Fair plans. Zigrosser also supplied photographs of works by Calder for several articles and provided his reminisences of the 1913 Armory Show for use in an article. Lloyd Goodrich and Jean Lipman were editors of Art in America. Included are copies of minutes for editorial board meetings.
